Intumescent & Fire
Intumescent materials expand when exposed to heat or fire. When heated, they swell and form a thick, insulating layer, which helps block the spread of fire and smoke. This makes intumescent materials useful in fireproofing applications, such as fire-resistant sealants, coatings and construction products.
