ARBO® Cleaner No.17 is a Xylene based cleaner suitable for the effective cleaning and degreasing of many different construction products. This ARBO cleaner is ideal for professional preparation before sealant application.

Recommended For:

• Anodised and Mill Finish Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Galvanised Steel, Copper

• Ceramic and Vitrified Tiles, GRP, Untreated Timber, Concrete, and Brick (ideal for removing old sealant residues)

• Cleaning mixing and application equipment
  

Important Note: This cleaner has strong chemical properties. Always test on a hidden area first if unsure of suitability or consult the Adshead Ratcliffe Technical Service Department for advice.

Not Recommended For:

• Glass surfaces (use ARBO® Cleaner 15 or ARBO Glass Cleaner instead)

• PVC (including wood grain effect), polyester powder-coated surfaces, plastic sheeting, and polycarbonate sheeting.

• Suitable for polystyrene sheets, ABS, Perspex, painted surfaces, PVF, PVF2, EPDM, and other rubber materials

ARBO® Cleaner 16 is a versatile alcohol based cleaner designed to clean and degrease various construction materials while remaining safe for sensitive surfaces.

Recommended For:

• PVC (including wood grain effect), polyester powder-coated surfaces, plastic and polycarbonate sheeting.

• Polystyrene sheets, ABS, Perspex, painted surfaces, PVF, PVF2, EPDM, and other rubber materials

• Glass anodised and mill finish aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, copper, ceramic, and vitrified tiles.

Important Note:  Due to the range of construction materials, conduct a pre-test on an inconspicuous area if needed. Contact the Adshead Ratcliffe Technical Service Department for guidance if uncertain.

Not Recommended For:

• Applications requiring rapid solvent evaporation before sealant application.

• Removal of old sealant residues
