Why Choose ARBO Modified Polymer Sealants
1. Superior Adhesion and Elasticity
Both Arbomeric MP10 (low modulus) and Arbomeric MP20 (high modulus) sealants cure on exposure to moisture vapour, forming elastic rubber that delivers long-lasting flexibility and strong adhesion across a range of substrates.
2. Versatile Application Range
MP10 is perfect for perimeter sealing of curtain walling, brickwork, lightweight cladding, and blockwork.
MP20 is designed for more robust tasks, such as structural floor joints, heavy cladding, and anti-vandal areas like prisons and secure facilities.
3. High Movement Accommodation
MP10 offers 70% movement in butt joints and 150% in lap joints, making it ideal for dynamic structures.
MP20 supports up to 35% movement in butt joints, providing flexibility in structural and floor applications.
4. Excellent Durability and Weather Resistance
With over 20 years of service life, both MP10 and MP20 resist UV degradation, dilute acids, and alkalis. They're suitable for external use in all weather conditions and provide long-term reliability.
5. Overpaintable and Easy to Apply
Once cured, both products are paint-compatible (subject to testing), and conform to BS EN ISO 11600 standards — ensuring professional-grade results. Easy to apply using ARBO caulking guns, with optional primers and cleaners available for optimal surface preparation.
6. Colour Options
Available in White, Grey, and Black (MP20) or White, Grey, and Limestone (MP10) to match or blend with your surface finish.
7. Environmentally Conscious and Non-Hazardous
MP10 is non-hazardous, and both products have a 12-month shelf life in original packaging, offering safe, reliable storage.
