Meet Holly, our Purchasing Manager here at ARBO® in the UK, part of CARLISLE® CM Europe.
Purchasing Manager – I work closely (along with my team member Helen) with the Production, Customer Services and Finance teams to ensure we have the right product, at the right time, for the right price. I also regularly meet with suppliers old and new, to build relationships and make sure the latest market information and updates on supply and price are being communicated.
Since February 2022.
Back in the middle of last year, we had a major supply issue with one of our packaging items. Along with Production and Customer Services, we facilitated an onsite meeting to work directly with the customer to resolve this and work on a solution moving forward.
Communication is key and working with each other, instead of against, it always produces a better end result for everyone – Teamwork makes the dream work!
I love the Team spirit at this company, we’re a small team in Belper but everyone chips in to help each other and shares useful information. This also extends to my colleagues in Europe though, nothing is too much trouble if I need assistance with an issue and we’re always sharing insights that might benefit each other.
