Arbomast BR is a one-part Butyl Rubber Sealant for use in closed joint sealing and bedding applications. Arbomast BR exhibits good adhesion to many common construction substrates.
Arbomast BR forms a surface skin if exposed to air, but the bulk of the material underneath remains non setting and pliable.

Main Applications of ARBOMAST BR
Non setting sealant between metal-to-metal joints in curtain wall and window assemblies to form a water and airtight seal.
For forming an effective seal between metal lap and fixing joints. Arbomast BR will seal but will only give minimal strength to the installation.
For use in a variety of bedding/concealed joints between many common construction substrates such as timber, concrete and metals.
Sealing heating and ventilation ductwork joints.
Not recommended for use against bituminous materials, expansion and other joints subject to high degrees of movement. Not recommended for use against natural stone.
Not recommended for UV exposed joints.

Application Instructions
Joint Preparation
The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from all contamination. The surfaces should be degreased using the appropriate ARBO® Cleaner. Although Arbomast BR has good adhesion to many common construction substrates.
Application
Arbomast BR is supplied in polyethylene cartridges and can be applied using an ARBO Caulking Gun.
